The 2023 fresh apple crop in Washington state is forecast at 28% increase from the 2022 crop. The Washington State Tree Fruit Association has estimated the state’s fresh crop at just over 134 million standard 40-pound boxes of fresh apples. With the increase in fresh apples, it should mean more processing apples in Washington state and lower prices for Apple Concentrate and Apple Puree products later this year and into 2024.
